Finding PowerShell 2.0

Joel Bennett in his article “Fixing Search Results: PowerShell 2.0 is RTM” raises a good point. Since the official release of PowerShell 2.0 I have been encouraging my colleagues and coworkers to  download and install it. Unfortunately, many come back asking if I am certain that it has released. They complain that all they can find is the CTP.

So, in the spirit of helping people find the current release, I’m providing the following link: PowerShell 2.0 is available from Knowledge base article 968929 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968929). PowerShell is also now a part of the Windows Management Framework. Knowing this may make it easier to find.
